Summary and analysis

SummaryAnalysis

Thubyrgeim tells you K'lyhia's past: she was a young prisoner on Doesmaga's slave ship, and the guildmaster calmed her with a grimoire (a magic book). Thubyrgeim leads the ambush, calling out K'lyhia's combat patterns, and says there is still something they can do.

The Arcanist storyline

Your class story: K'lyhia's past with the exiled pirate Doesmaga, played out at Mealvaan's Gate and Oschon's Embrace.

Pirates and the AdmiralThe Arcanist’s art

What happens, step by step

  1. Acting Guildmaster Thubyrgeim appears unusually distressed.
  2. Thubyrgeim tells you that the recovering K'lyhia has vanished without a word. Follow the acting guildmaster's suggestion and make inquiries on Hawkers' Alley as to the foreseer's whereabouts.
  3. After speaking with Dodozan on Hawkers' Alley, you learn that K'lyhia was seeking information concerning a Qiqirn smuggling ring. During their conversation, however, it appears that the Yellowjackets appeared and took the foreseer away. Speak to Ginnade at the Coral Tower to learn more of K'lyhia's fate.
  4. Ginnade explains that K'lyhia was once a prisoner of Doesmaga, and that the Yellowjackets brought the Miqo'te in for questioning to learn what she knew of the black-hearted pirate. Return to the Arcanists' Guild and report your findings to Thubyrgeim.
  5. Upon making your report to Thubyrgeim, the acting guildmaster has an epiphany regarding the missing assessor's probable destination. Head to Aleport in western La Noscea and search for K'lyhia.
  6. You discover the foreseer in Aleport to find that she is already formulating a strategy to recover her lost grimoire. Speak with Thubyrgeim at Oschon's Embrace and lend your strength to K'lyhia's planned attack.
  7. In order to retrieve the foreseer's grimoire, you have been asked to cooperate in a covert strike on a black market merchant and his retinue. The plan hinges on the successful execution of a classic pincer maneuver at Oschon's Embrace. Take up your position, and await the arrival of the target.
  8. Though you have managed to retrieve the grimoire, prolonged immersion in seawater has ruined the tome beyond any chance of restoration. K'lyhia, visibly sagging at the sight of her damaged possession, makes her despondent way back to Limsa Lominsa. Return to the Arcanists' Guild and speak with Thubyrgeim.
  9. K'lyhia is devastated by the destruction of her grimoire. Promising a means to aid the dispirited assessor, Thubyrgeim asks that you return to your training until she is ready to call upon your help. ※The next arcanist quest will be available from Thubyrgeim upon reaching level 25.
Remember this

The Yellowjackets know that K'lyhia was once Doesmaga's prisoner. Keep it in mind, because the last part, Sinking Doesmaga (Lv 30), is about the chains of her past.

Thubyrgeim sighs that the guildmaster is not here. If he were, he could work out in a moment where the missing foreseer is. You finally meet him in Grimoire Fandango.

Worth knowing

Easter eggThe Arcanist’s art

Thubyrgeim's fight name is 'the Transpicuous'. It is a rare word that means easily seen through. It suits a teacher who values a clear answer.

Characters

Who they are, and what they do in this quest.

Thubyrgeim

Thubyrgeim, the acting guildmaster, is unusually troubled. K'lyhia, still recovering, has been missing since this morning, and this time no one can find her.

Ginnade

Ginnade is on duty at the Coral Tower with the Yellowjackets, the soldiers of Limsa Lominsa.

Ginnade says the Yellowjackets questioned K'lyhia about the pirate Doesmaga, exiled six years ago for black market trading and now back. K'lyhia was once his prisoner. But she asked the questions, and Ginnade thinks she went back to your guild.

K'lyhia

K'lyhia, still recovering, has left the guild this morning without a word, and no one knows where she is.

K'lyhia was once a young prisoner of the pirate Doesmaga. The guildmaster gave her the grimoire (spell book) she has always carried. She plans an ambush to win it back, but seawater has ruined it; she puts repair at 0%. Crushed, she goes home.

Dodozan

Dodozan is on Hawkers' Alley, the market street where K'lyhia's wanderings often take her.

Dodozan saw and spoke with K'lyhia. She asked him about a Qiqirn smuggling ring based in Aleport, then the Yellowjackets, the city's soldiers, took her away. He sends you to Ginnade at the Coral Tower.

Aersthota

Aersthota is one of the allies Thubyrgeim can count on when the Arcanists' Guild needs help.

Aersthota hides with Geissfryn across the ravine and springs the pincer attack (striking from both sides) when Thubyrgeim calls. After the fight, Aersthota wants to comfort the crushed K'lyhia, but Thubyrgeim says to give her time. Aersthota asks you to take care of her.

Thubyrgeim greets you by asking about them. The English offers an ear for any troubled thoughts.

French

En fait... c'est plutôt moi qui ai quelque chose à t'avouer.

I find myself beginning to wonder if those who devote themselves overmuch to arcanima are more prone to bouts of wanderlust... But while I might wish to ponder further such oddities of character, we must needs organize a search party.

German

Man hört immer wieder von unvorsichtigen Hermetikern, die nach einem riskanten Experiment verschwinden und nie wieder gesehen werden ...

‘One keeps hearing of careless arcanists who vanish after a risky experiment and are never seen again...’

English wonders if arcanists are prone to wanderlust; German: careless arcanists vanish after risky experiments, never seen again.

English, Thubyrgeim

Would you be so kind as to make inquiries in Hawkers' Alley? It is not uncommon for K'lyhia's wanderings to take a path through the markets.

Japanese

お前さんは、国際街商通りで情報を集めてくれ。あの娘が消えた時は、大抵あそこにいたからね。

‘You go and ask around in Hawkers' Alley. Whenever that girl has gone missing before, that's usually where she was.’

Thubyrgeim talks like a brisk, warm den mother. The English Thubyrgeim is a formal scholar.

English, Ginnade

Foreseer K'lyhia? Yes, we brought her in for questioning regarding the reappearance of the pirate Doesmaga.

German

Zollinspektorin K'lyhia?

‘Customs inspector K'lyhia?’

English gives K'lyhia the title "Foreseer"; German calls her customs inspector.

English, Ginnade

And now the villain has returned. He is, however, both cunning and cautious, and continues to evade our troops. Thus, we hoped to borrow the knowledge of Foreseer K'lyhia, whose experiences have given her an intimate familiarity with the way the scoundrel operates.

German

Deswegen haben wir K'lyhia gebeten, uns bei der Erstellung eines Psychogramms zu helfen.

‘That is why we asked K'lyhia to help us with drawing up a psychological profile.’

German says the Yellowjackets wanted a psychological profile of Doesmaga; English only speaks of borrowing her knowledge.

English, Thubyrgeim

The assessor that stepped aboard the pirate's merchant ship spoke of finding dozens of unwashed unfortunates crammed into that squalid hold. Among these prisoners was a young Miqo'te, destined for some black market auction block.

German

Und K'lyhia ... war eine der Miqo'te, die aus seinem Frachtraum befreit wurden.

‘And K'lyhia... was one of the Miqo'te freed from his hold.’

English, Thubyrgeim

Though K'lyhia was initially too terrified to even speak, the guildmaster brought her out of her fearful daze with the gift of an initiate's grimoire. Yes, the selfsame tome that she has carried her entire career.

German

Der damalige Gildenmeister sah etwas Besonderes in ihr und nahm sie in die Gilde auf.

‘The guildmaster of the time saw something special in her and took her into the guild.’

English: the guildmaster's gift brought her out of her terrified daze; German: he saw something special in her.

English, Thubyrgeim

It is entirely possible that the foreseer's most prized possession was caught up in the Qiqirn's salvage net. I've no doubt now that K'lyhia has reached the same conclusion. To Aleport with you, your name. That is where you will find our wayward assessor.

Japanese

その中に、捨てられた魔道書が紛れていると期待してるのかもしれない。……エールポートで、あの娘を探してくれ。

‘She may be hoping the grimoire that was thrown away got mixed in with it... Go and look for that girl in Aleport.’

English, Thubyrgeim

It is entirely possible that the foreseer's most prized possession was caught up in the Qiqirn's salvage net. I've no doubt now that K'lyhia has reached the same conclusion. To Aleport with you, your name. That is where you will find our wayward assessor.

French

Nul doute que K'lyhia espère que ces hommes-rats auront mis la main sur son précieux grimoire.

‘No doubt K'lyhia hopes that these rat-men will have got their hands on her precious grimoire.’

French calls the Qiqirn "rat-men", telling the reader what they look like; English uses only their name.

English, K'lyhia

your name, it is good of you to come. I was unable to calculate for certain if you would piece together my movements in time. Very little is certain when so many variables are involved.

French

Ça tombe bien, j'allais justement te contacter.

Japanese

今からキミに連絡を取ろうとしていたところです。

‘I was about to get in touch with you just now.’

English, K'lyhia

Lominsan law and the policies of Mealvaan's Gate would support the confiscation of goods connected to an official inspection, but alas, my personal belongings do not fall under that definition. Thus, I intend to launch an unofficial offensive against this black marketeer and his cronies.

French

Je n'ai pas d'autrrre moyen, parce que d'après le règlement, les objets confisqués lors d'une inspection officielle doivent être consignés à la douane de Mealvaan.

‘I have no other way, because according to the rules, objects confiscated during an official inspection must be handed over to the Mealvaan customs.’

Japanese

公式な臨検では、積荷は没収と定められているため魔道書も取り戻せないものですから。

‘In an official inspection, the cargo is to be confiscated, so the grimoire could not be recovered either.’

German

Fundsachen aus dem Meer kann ich nicht einfach so für die Zollbehörde beschlagnahmen ...

‘I cannot simply confiscate things found in the sea for the customs authority...’

English: her personal belongings fall outside the confiscation rules; French: items confiscated officially must go to customs.

English: her personal belongings fall outside the confiscation rules; Japanese: official inspections confiscate cargo, so she'd lose the grimoire.

German reason: goods fished from the sea can't be seized by customs. English: her personal belongings don't qualify.

English, K'lyhia

The peddler has already departed for Candlekeep Quay. It is time I gathered to me such allies as I possess─and I count you as one of them, your name!

French

Je vais me charger de réunir des gens pour cette miss... disons, opération de recouvrement !

‘I will take charge of gathering people for this miss... let's say, recovery operation!’

French K'lyhia stops herself saying "mission" and calls it a "recovery operation", a joke absent in English.

English, K'lyhia

Despite the nature of this endeavor, Mistress Thubyrgeim has offered me her cooperation. If you would, pray join her at Oschon's Embrace─that is where we shall ambush this disreputable Qiqirn.

French

Je vais demander son aide à Thubyrgeim.

‘I am going to ask Thubyrgeim for her help.’

German

Ich werde auch Thubyrgeim um Unterstützung bitten.

‘I will also ask Thubyrgeim for support.’

Japanese

English: Thubyrgeim has already offered her cooperation; French: K'lyhia is going to ask her for help.

English: Thubyrgeim has already offered her cooperation; German: K'lyhia will ask her for support.

English: Thubyrgeim has already offered her cooperation; Japanese: K'lyhia will ask her for it.

English, Thubyrgeim

Greetings, your name. Your arrival completes our small company. You are equipped for battle, I trust? We need not await K'lyhia's arrival─once the Qiqirn appears on the bridge, we spring our ambush.

German

Also gut, die Aktion entspricht zwar nicht ganz den Vorschriften, aber wenn wir jetzt nicht handeln, ist das Grimoire verloren.

‘All right, the operation isn't quite by the rules, but if we don't act now, the grimoire is lost.’

English: no need to wait for K'lyhia before the ambush; German: if they don't act now, the grimoire is lost.

English, Thubyrgeim

The strategy for trapping our target relies on the two allies we have concealed on the other side of the ravine. This pincer maneuver was, naturally, the foreseer's idea.

French

Ils se cachent dans une baraque de l'autre côté et nous aideront à prendre nos adversaires dans un étau.

‘They are hiding in a shack on the other side and will help us catch our opponents in a pincer.’

French says the allies hide in a shack and names them just before; English leaves both unsaid.

English, Thubyrgeim

The strategy for trapping our target relies on the two allies we have concealed on the other side of the ravine. This pincer maneuver was, naturally, the foreseer's idea.

German

In der Hütte dort drüben sind Geissfryn und Aersthota in Position gegangen.

‘In the hut over there, Geissfryn and Aersthota have taken up position.’

German names the two allies and says they wait in a hut; English says only "two allies".

English, Thubyrgeim

Do not, however, expect any assistance from the Yellowjackets. They cannot be seen aiding us in what amounts to a personal matter, but they are willing to turn a blind eye for K'lyhia's sake.

French

C'est la raison pour laquelle nous sommes libres d'agir comme nous l'entendons.

‘That is why we are free to act as we see fit.’

English: the Yellowjackets will turn a blind eye for K'lyhia; French: being unofficial, they are free to act as they please.

English, Thubyrgeim

Do not be concerned─I have memorized the foreseer's strategy down to the last detail. For the moment, you need only await the Qiqirn's arrival.

German

Du hast doch Angriffsmuster 256 verinnerlicht, oder?

‘You have memorized attack pattern 256, haven't you?’

English: Thubyrgeim says she has memorized the strategy; German: she asks whether you have memorized pattern 256.

English, Thubyrgeim

Do not be concerned─I have memorized the foreseer's strategy down to the last detail. For the moment, you need only await the Qiqirn's arrival.

Japanese

ク・リヒャが策定した256パターンもの戦略はぜんぶ頭に叩き込んであるから安心しな。

‘Rest easy, I've drilled every one of the as many as 256 strategy patterns K'lyhia devised into my head.’

English: she memorized the foreseer's strategy in detail; Japanese: she memorized all 256 strategy patterns.

English, Thubyrgeim

Do not be concerned─I have memorized the foreseer's strategy down to the last detail. For the moment, you need only await the Qiqirn's arrival.

German

Ich erklär's dir noch mal, während wir auf die Qiqirn warten ...

‘I'll explain it to you once more while we wait for the Qiqirn...’

German Thubyrgeim checks you know attack pattern 256 and re-explains it; English says she memorised the strategy.

English,

Filthy ambushers! They want Kikiroon's sparklies! Ambush them back!

German

Kommt nur her, wir verkaufen eure Schädel als Aschenbecher!

‘Come on then, we'll sell your skulls as ashtrays!’

The Qiqirn boss speaks fluent German here. The English Kikiroon speaks broken English.

English,

Kikiroon no scared! Kikiroon have scary spellslingers!

German

Hui hui, jetzt rufen sie schon um Hilfe!

‘Whee, now they are already calling for help!’

German Qiqirn mocks the attackers for calling for help; English has him boast of his own spellcasters.

English, Aersthota

I failed to earn my coin on this job...

French

Ils sont trop... forts...

‘So-sorry... They're too... strong...’

German

Dabei habe ich doch morgen eine Verabredung!

‘And I have a date tomorrow!’

English: Aersthota laments failing to earn her coin; French: she apologizes, the enemies are too strong.

English: Aersthota laments failing to earn her coin; German: dying, she laments her date tomorrow.

‘Aaargh... They got me...’

German

Legt mir Lilien aufs Grab!

‘Lay lilies on my grave!’

English: the healer hopes you packed potions; French: he just says they got him.

English: the healer hopes you packed potions; German: he asks for lilies on his grave.

English, Thubyrgeim

This wasn't part of the strategy...

German

Tödlich verwundet?

‘Me? Mortally wounded? But I am...’

English: Thubyrgeim says this wasn't part of the strategy; German: she is shocked to be mortally wounded.

English, K'lyhia

The probability of repairing this degree of damage is...0%. Even the most brilliant strategy cannot undo such ravages of seawater.

German

Die Chance, mein Grimoire wieder in einen gebrauchsfertigen Zustand zurückzuversetzen ... beträgt ... 0,0 Prophezent!

‘The chance of getting my grimoire back into working order... is... 0.0 prophecent!’

German

0,0 Prophezent!

‘The chance of restoring my grimoire to a usable state... is... 0.0 Prophezent!’

K'lyhia's word blends „Prophezeiung“, 'prophecy', and „Prozent“, 'percent'. It is a foreseer's percentage.

English says 0%; German says 0.0 "Prophezent", a made-up unit blending prophecy and percent.

English, K'lyhia

The probability of repairing this degree of damage is...0%. Even the most brilliant strategy cannot undo such ravages of seawater.

French

Sans toutes les données arcanico-géométriques et mes obserrrvations notées en annexe, je ne suis plus rien...

‘Without all the arcanico-geometric data and my observations noted in the appendix, I am nothing anymore...’

English: no strategy can undo the seawater damage; French: without her data and notes, she is nothing.

English, K'lyhia

I have never felt so...defeated. I believe it is time I returned home.

German

Auch der mächtigste Zauber kann die Zeit nicht zurückdrehen ...

‘Even the mightiest spell cannot turn back time...’

German K'lyhia reflects that no spell can turn back time; English K'lyhia says she feels defeated.

English, Geissfryn

Leave her be!

German

Wir müssen etwas tun!

‘We must do something!’

English: Geissfryn says to leave her be; German: he says they must do something.

English, Thubyrgeim

Not quite the victory we imagined, was it? The moment K'lyhia beheld her soaked and tattered grimoire...you could see the light of hope die in her eyes.

German

Als sie das aufgeweichte Grimoire gesehen hat, hat sich ihr Blick verändert, als hätte sie einen Freund verloren.

‘When she saw the soaked grimoire, her gaze changed, as if she had lost a friend.’

German image: she looked as if she had lost a friend. English: hope died in her eyes.

English, Thubyrgeim

There is, however, something we can do. I will call on your aid soon, but in the meantime, you would be well served to deepen your knowledge of arcanima.

German

Sie mag dich.

‘She likes you.’

German ends with "she likes you" as the reason to help; English tells you to keep training.

Accepting the quest

Thubyrgeim

Greetings, your name. In case such doubts fill your mind, you should know that I am ever willing to lend an ear if you find your thoughts troubled.

Thubyrgeim

At the very least, I would have you know this, because it seems that K'lyhia does not. The foreseer has been missing since this morning. There have been other times when she has disappeared without a word, but we have always been able to find her. Alas, that is not the case this day.

Thubyrgeim

Were the guildmaster here, he could deduce her whereabouts with nary a moment's concentration...

Thubyrgeim

I find myself beginning to wonder if those who devote themselves overmuch to arcanima are more prone to bouts of wanderlust... But while I might wish to ponder further such oddities of character, we must needs organize a search party.

Thubyrgeim

Would you be so kind as to make inquiries in Hawkers' Alley? It is not uncommon for K'lyhia's wanderings to take a path through the markets.

Inquire about K'lyhia on Hawkers' Alley.

Dodozan

You seek a Miqo'te agent of Mealvaan's Gate? Why, yes, I have seen her. Spoke with her, in fact. She was, however, apprehended by the Yellowjackets.

Dodozan

The assessor was drilling me for details about a Qiqirn smuggling ring based in Aleport, but then the soldiers arrived and took her away.

Dodozan

If you wish to know her fate, then I suggest you speak with Ginnade of the Coral Tower.

Speak with Ginnade at the Coral Tower.

Ginnade

Foreseer K'lyhia? Yes, we brought her in for questioning regarding the reappearance of the pirate Doesmaga.

Ginnade

A member of the Arcanists' Guild, are you? Then I see no reason to conceal the nature of our discourse. Perhaps you are already aware of this, but the foreseer was once held captive by that rabid sea dog.

Ginnade

Few pirates sink to such depths of depravity as Doesmaga. It has been six years now since he was exiled from Limsa Lominsa for engaging in the worst kind of black market trading.

Ginnade

And now the villain has returned. He is, however, both cunning and cautious, and continues to evade our troops. Thus, we hoped to borrow the knowledge of Foreseer K'lyhia, whose experiences have given her an intimate familiarity with the way the scoundrel operates.

Ginnade

At least, that was our intent. After weathering a barrage of questions from the assessor, we found ourselves, instead, providing the details of our search. Should you wish to speak with Foreseer K'lyhia, I imagine she has already returned safely to your guild.

Speak with Thubyrgeim at the Arcanists' Guild.

Thubyrgeim

Back already? You were led to believe she had returned here? I am afraid not. ...Hm? So, the Yellowjackets told you something of her history with Doesmaga, did they? Perhaps it would be best if I told you the entire tale.

Thubyrgeim

Doesmaga's banishment was the result of a surprise inspection that revealed his involvement in an underground slave trade.

Thubyrgeim

The assessor that stepped aboard the pirate's merchant ship spoke of finding dozens of unwashed unfortunates crammed into that squalid hold. Among these prisoners was a young Miqo'te, destined for some black market auction block.

Thubyrgeim

Though K'lyhia was initially too terrified to even speak, the guildmaster brought her out of her fearful daze with the gift of an initiate's grimoire. Yes, the selfsame tome that she has carried her entire career.

Thubyrgeim

I─ ...Of course. Did you not mention that K'lyhia's grimoire was thrown into the sea?

Thubyrgeim

There are rumors that a Qiqirn merchant of ill repute has retrieved the black market goods the crew of the Morningstar heaved into the ocean. Even now, he gloats over his salt-encrusted catch in Aleport.

Thubyrgeim

It is entirely possible that the foreseer's most prized possession was caught up in the Qiqirn's salvage net. I've no doubt now that K'lyhia has reached the same conclusion. To Aleport with you, your name. That is where you will find our wayward assessor.

Search for K'lyhia in Aleport.

K'lyhia

Yes, yes... Combat Pattern 256 should serve to cover all expected contingencies─you never know when you'll have to nullify a thaumaturge or two! My retrieval strategy is complete.

K'lyhia

your name, it is good of you to come. I was unable to calculate for certain if you would piece together my movements in time. Very little is certain when so many variables are involved.

K'lyhia

But there is good news: this prisoner here was kind enough to confirm that the trader who salvaged the Morningstar's jettisoned cargo did indeed retrieve a tome matching the description of my lost grimoire.

K'lyhia

Lominsan law and the policies of Mealvaan's Gate would support the confiscation of goods connected to an official inspection, but alas, my personal belongings do not fall under that definition. Thus, I intend to launch an unofficial offensive against this black marketeer and his cronies.

K'lyhia

The peddler has already departed for Candlekeep Quay. It is time I gathered to me such allies as I possess─and I count you as one of them, your name!

K'lyhia

Despite the nature of this endeavor, Mistress Thubyrgeim has offered me her cooperation. If you would, pray join her at Oschon's Embrace─that is where we shall ambush this disreputable Qiqirn.

K'lyhia

Please make haste to Oschon's Embrace and join forces with Mistress Thubyrgeim─I will be along once I have made sure of my preparations.

Speak with Thubyrgeim at Oschon's Embrace.

Thubyrgeim

Greetings, your name. Your arrival completes our small company. You are equipped for battle, I trust? We need not await K'lyhia's arrival─once the Qiqirn appears on the bridge, we spring our ambush.

Thubyrgeim

The strategy for trapping our target relies on the two allies we have concealed on the other side of the ravine. This pincer maneuver was, naturally, the foreseer's idea.

Thubyrgeim

As for the target himself, the Qiqirn is known as a careful and cautious fellow. He travels with a small retinue so as to avoid attracting attention, but do not be fooled: more bodyguards follow at a distance, and will likely join the fray after hostilities ensue.

Thubyrgeim

Do not, however, expect any assistance from the Yellowjackets. They cannot be seen aiding us in what amounts to a personal matter, but they are willing to turn a blind eye for K'lyhia's sake.

Thubyrgeim

In any case, the foreseer's tactics account for our limited numbers and individual strengths. Victory is all but assured. Now, let us take up our positions and wait for the Qiqirn to arrive.

Thubyrgeim

Do not be concerned─I have memorized the foreseer's strategy down to the last detail. For the moment, you need only await the Qiqirn's arrival.

Wait for the Qiqirn to arrive.

K'lyhia

Well executed, everyone. ...Were you able to retrieve my grimoire?

Defeat Kikiroon's mercenaries and retrieve the grimoire!

Filthy ambushers! They want Kikiroon's sparklies! Ambush them back!

Thubyrgeim

Your foul trade is a blight on Limsa Lominsa. Surrender your goods at once!

Thubyrgeim

Geissfryn! Aersthota! Now!

Thubyrgeim

Conjurers. Just as K'lyhia predicted. We shift to Combat Pattern 158!

Thubyrgeim

your name! Focus on the conjurers and blunt their heals!

No! Be late for business! This business be bad for you!

Thubyrgeim

your name, I spy a thaumaturge! Quickly, switch to Combat Pattern 256!

Thubyrgeim

Even a lone mage can wreak untold havoc. Focus your attacks on the thaumaturge first!

Thubyrgeim

That appears to be the last of them. Now, to find the foreseer's grimoire!

Speak with Thubyrgeim at the Arcanists' Guild.

Thubyrgeim

your name, pray hand over the tome.

K'lyhia

It's ruined... My wonderful grimoire is ruined.

K'lyhia

The probability of repairing this degree of damage is...0%. Even the most brilliant strategy cannot undo such ravages of seawater.

K'lyhia

I have never felt so...defeated. I believe it is time I returned home.

Geissfryn

Leave her be!

Aersthota

But, how can I!?

Thubyrgeim

He is right, Aersthota. You must allow K'lyhia time to process the loss.

Thubyrgeim

And you have other matters to which you must attend. Come, your name, it is time we returned to the guild, as well.

Geissfryn

We'll clean up here. No one will even suspect a fight took place.

Aersthota

Please, take care of Foreseer K'lyhia.

Thubyrgeim

Not quite the victory we imagined, was it? The moment K'lyhia beheld her soaked and tattered grimoire...you could see the light of hope die in her eyes.

Thubyrgeim

There is, however, something we can do. I will call on your aid soon, but in the meantime, you would be well served to deepen your knowledge of arcanima.
